Cluj-Napoca, Romania, May 17th - May 26th 2013

Photo România (PHR) is the most important photography festival in the Eastern Europe. Guests from 20 countries, reknowned international photographers and more than 100.000 photography lovers gather in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, at the end of May.

This third edition of the festival has an offer of 75 events: exhibitions and oppenings, photography workshops and competitions, music concerts and other unconventional photo events. The headquarters of Photo Romania 2013 is the Boema Garden, an old and famous establishment in the city centre, build in 1830, abandoned since 2000 and re-opened by Photo Romania for the public access.

Amongst the special guests of Photo Romania 2013 we can mention Espen Rasmussen (Norway), Giuseppe Parisi (Italia), Sebastian Magnani (Switzerland), Tadas Cerneauskas (Letonia) and the Romanian photographers and journalists Radu Sigheti (Reuters), Thomas Câmpean (London News Pictures), Raed Kryshan (GSP), Simion Buia, Ionel Onofraș și Dorel Găină.

Byron, Omul cu Șobolani, Lucia Maria, Vița de Vie and Whispering Woods are just some of the artist who will perform during the PHR Evenings at the Boema Garden.
